 * How do I call a “text link” widget via php? I want to add a text link widget
to a permanent area of the design (not the sidebar)

 * I should clarify – not a “text link” – but a text widget. I’m using all nine
and would like to use them to add custom subnav to each “page” of the site via
   [http://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags#Variable_Sidebar_Content](http://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags#Variable_Sidebar_Content)

I’m creating this for a client so I want them to be able to update those whenever
they want so I’m hoping I can hard code text widget into those areas.
