I have installed Wordfence 4.7.3, but I can’t setting the firewall

“Call to Wordfence API to resolve IPs failed: The Wordfence scanning servers are currently unavailable. This may be for maintenance or a temporary outage. If this still occurs in an hour, please contact support. [403]”

There isn’t any api key!! ?

How can resolve it?

• Hi @johnnydsg,

Could you please check the connection to the Wordfence servers:

• Go to Wordfence –> Tools
• Click the Diagnostics tab
• Scroll down to the Connectivity section

Does it read “OK” for both connection types (http & https)?

Have you tried disabling the SSL verification?

If the problem persists, could you please check the Wordfence System Info page:

• Go to the Wordfence Tools page
• Click the Diagnostics tab
• In the Other Tests section (near the bottom of the page), click the link that reads “Click to view your system’s configuration in a new window“. This will open the Wordfence System Info page.

And paste here the values associated with the following parameters:

• Server API
• PHP Version
• cURL support
• cURL Information

I assume that you have installed the latest version of Wordfence (6.3.6) (the 4.7.3 version you mentioned is that of WordPress itself)

wp_remote_post() test to noc1.wordfence.com failed! Response was: 403 Forbidden
This likely means that your hosting provider is blocking requests to noc1.wordfence.com or has set up a proxy that is not behaving itself.
This additional info may help you diagnose the issue. The response headers we received were:
date => Fri, 14 Apr 2017 20:41:00 GMT
server => Apache
content-type => text/plain
This is what is written in to the Connectivity section

I have solved the problem, just turn on “server to server” on AlterVista.
