    Hi The Events Calendar,
    just a heads up that the latest update caused an issue on our site.

    Upon update I received the following error:

    Call to undefined function wp_doing_cron()

    I rolled the version back and everything is OK.

    Same problem here!

    giving some context, I’m using define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', true); to disable wp-cron because I’m running the cron tasks through the server cron (cPanel) at specific times.

    I’m getting this error Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_doing_cron() in /home/stimpostos/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Context.php:126

    The strangest part is I was running 4.6.18 version of the plugin and it got updated to 4.6.26 without any kind of intervention! I’ve disabled all automatic updates through wp-config.php and functions.php but the plugin keeps getting updated. Is there an auto-update implemented in the plugin?

    One of my clients is seeing the same problem, and we are NOT disabling cron via wp-config.php (i.e. our cron is running normal).

    We apologize, everyone.

    We’ve released a new version of the plugin that should resolve this (updating WordPress to the most recent release should also resolve this).

    If you continue to hit difficulties after updating, please do let us know.
