I installed Pretty Link Lite last week and have it installed and working without any problem.

This morning, when I logged in my WordPress to check about the link stat, I found an error with Pretty Link Lite:

    The error states:

Call to undefined function get_site_transient() in /home/quickway/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pretty-link/classes/models/models.inc.php on line 60

I don’t know what is wrong with the installation.

Am I using an too old WordPress that caused this problem?
I am using WordPress 2.8.6. for the site under discussion.

I cannot change anything now as I am running a promotion campaign using a redirected link by Pretty Link. Fortunately the re-direct link is still working but I worry if I would lose all traffic stats reported by Pretty Link.

Any one has suggestion to solve this problem and would I lose the traffic data eventually?

    Thanks

    Damen

Pretty Link requires that you have at least version 3.0 of WordPress installed. You should definitely upgrade — 2.8.6 is a very old version … many plugins won’t support this version anymore.
