   sorry I didn’t know about this Issue on WordPress Forum.
 * So, the filter_var() is a function of PHP>=5.2.0 as you can see on [http://php.net/manual/en/function.filter-var.php](http://php.net/manual/en/function.filter-var.php)
 * Also, your web host might need to enable the filter extension in PHP module.
