Hi @pibeca,
Sorry for the big delay in my answer here, but with Memorial Day yesterday most of our team was out.
It seems like there is some change with WP 6.0 that is reverting the Avada to the Default WordPress template loop instead o the custom templating that we have built on The Events Calendar.
That is a terrible outcome I understand your pain here, do you mind reverting to the previous version of WordPress while our team debugs this further?
I might have a good idea of what might be causing it, but I am unsure if I can fix it from our side in a quick way, it might be a combination of something on Avada + The Events Calendar.
We have a release that will happen later on today, but it’s a little too late for me to include the fix for this problem in that code, that is why I recommended reverting the WP version for now.
I will come back here and reply once I have a proper issue logged into our bug tracker so that you can watch for the actual fix on the changelog.
Also, it might be solved by the Avada team, which an update on the theme might solve.
Best Regards,
Having same issue w/ broken links on single event pages. This thread mighty help the Event Cal devs: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-6-breaks-account-sub-pages/ I had the same issue w/ a different plugin and they briefing explain why it is happening.
Hi @someguy9, thanks for sharing this information. I would share this with the team and see what’s up on our end.
Have a great day, Andy.
Best,
Abz
Hey @pibeca @someguy9, with the recent updates v6.0.x.x does the issue still persists? To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.
Please do let me know. Have a great week ahead.
Cheers,
Abz
Hi. Same problem here with Avada, guys! I’ve updated wordpress (6.1 running now), theme (7.8.2), patches, plugins… The only view is as cards (similar to the builder widget). Search, view modes, subscription buttom, etc, aren’t displayed. I’ve tried to change the layouts, changed PHP version… Nothing works.
I’ve tried the plugin with other theme (kalium) and the calendar runs perfectly.
Is there anything I can do? I have my client website waiting for this issue.
Thanks in advance

Hi @bordoni , @abzlevelup , @someguy9 , @nanotrias! After spending many, many hours reviewing the code, plugins, theme and database, in our case the problem was due to the Avada page settings.
In the new Avada versions, you can overwrite the different page’s layout configuration individually or by page type (post, archive, page, portfolio, etc.). This is available via WordPress admin > Avada > Layouts, where you can “manage layout conditions” by clicking each box wheel. In our website, we had selected “All Archives Pages” option inside the “Post archives” box, which was overwriting any other plugin layout configuration, including The Events Calendar layout configuration.
Without that, the calendar and posts show up properly, even with the new WordPress 6.x.x versions.
Hope it helps!!!
Regards.

Fixed! Thanks a lot, @pibeca! I was going crazy with that, but I never could imagine it was in the layout conditions.
Again, thank you very much! You’ve made my day 😉
