It looks like you copied and pasted the shortcode into your page, and when you did, you accidentally grabbed some HTML that you don’t need, and that is messing up the formatting. Edit the page, and use the text editor to view the HTML. If you see <pre> or <code>, delete that and it should fix the problem.

Thank you for the quick reply 🙂

I did that, and it seemed to clear it up however I don’t get a nice calendar look still, here is screenshot

I think it just looks wonky because there is nothing on the schedule – once you get some shifts in there, it should look better.

Thank you again for the response.

I have added 2 shifts for the week to see how it will view on the site. No Dice, still looks wonky 🙂

its almost as if it don’t recognize that I have a table with borders that needs to go there!!

I suspect that this is because of your theme’s markup for tables. You might need to add some custom CSS to make the table look better.

ok after adding some custom CSS I have the calendar viewing properly, SO FAR … (keeping fingers crossed) I have an additional question about displaying information on the [today] page. currently it is showing only times in a list (if there is more than one shift scheduled for the day.) which is perfectly acceptable I am just wondering if there is a way to display the Job name, location name or something like that to differenciate between the two locations. My employees dont have set times to do their work, I am inputting it as 00:00 – 00:00 time range and when they view the today page they see 2 shifts with 00:00 – 00:00 I would like to beable to separate the 2 shifts by job title / name / location or something like that.

At the moment, you can’t change how the [today] shortcode displays. That’s an oversight on my part – I have tried to include filters for everything that displays publicly so that it can be customized with a little PHP. I will make sure that the next version of the plugin includes a filter for this.

ok sounds good.. but on the [your_schedule] page you have Job listed, is there a way I can modify the shortcode-today.php file to display that information?

Basically I want it to kinda look like this

    NOVB1 – 00:00 – 00:00
    NOVB2 – 00:00 – 00:00

    etc etc..

You can modify that page, but then you will either have to never update the plugin, or lose your changes every time it is updated. You’re better off waiting until I add the filter, and then using the filter to change how it displays.

fair nuff – Thank you for your quick help 😛
