    Hi!
I’m having an issue with the plugin. I’m displaying it in a sidebar as a calendar with ‘small container’ option checked. All other fields (category, upcoming, year, month, week) are left empty. The issue: each time the page loads, the calendar is empty. The month is right, I’ve set two events, but none of them is there. I have to switch from a month view into something else, e.g. a week then back again to a month to finally display events which should be there from the beginning.
    Here’s a video showing what’s going on: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mcu6ldwb28wi9b4/events.wmv?dl=0
However, I seem to find a bit of a workaround: I have to input current month number in the widget month settings. Then it is OK as the calendar loads on start proper events. Look: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2po4yxk8977pyel/events2.wmv?dl=0
Unfortunately, this is not a satisfactory solution because someone would have to manually change the number on 30th or 31st of each month to update the calendar.
    Can this be fixed?

    Dear M.A.D,
First of all, thanks for your confidence in Chronosly plugin.

About widget, try to set filling in “current”, it means each month will show current month and you won’t need to change it.

Please, could you check your site after this change and let us know if all is fine?

My only complaint so far is choosing the date when creating an event. The calendar-date-picker starts with Sunday; that’s not what many (imho) are used to and it ruins a little bit UX. For instance I chose a day from third column from left, thinking I was picking Wednesday. Only after a while I noticed I chose Tuesday instead.
I’m thinking about fixing this and tweaking some CSS a little bit, but maybe some other time. Also I think I’ll replace days with abbreviations (I’m displaying it in a narrow sidebar).

    Wow, that very interesting.

We will take into account as all our other clients/users suggestions for further updates.

About “week starts on sunday” we think will be easy, because this option is already included in Chronosly settings, so can be extended on day picker.

On the other hand, could you give us some more details about “tweaking some CSS”? Will be very helpful for our developers.

    Thanks again M.A.D.

Basically I want to incorporate theme colours instead of default grey, at least in the days row.
Maybe make days a bit bigger, as the site is aimed for older people. I guess I’ll show the evens in a full page as well.
Remove view change buttons because we want to stick only with the month view.
Change arrow pointers from up/down to left/right.
I think I don’t need left border (the darker grey line) in each day frame.
And remove the year from the previous/next month links as, imho, it will be quite obvious that the user will be navigating in the scope of current year.

Please do not consider your plugin as “bad” because want to change some things and we are not happy that we cannot do them from the settings panel 🙂

When it comes to the actual plugin, I’d only add an option to show/hide view change, but that’s not really an issue.

What I’ve noticed a second ago is that the page scrolls down each time I close the day bar (the one showing once I click any day in the calendar). I don’t know yet what’s causing this, but I think it can be a bit confusing or annoying to some users, so I’d like to get rid of that.

    Dear M.A.D.
all those changes and suggestions you said are possible using Template editor included in Chronosly FULL version:

    Drag & Drop sytem
    Editing tools

that would help you to customize your Chronosly templates. Nonetheless, some programming skills are needed in special for CSS code.
