  • You can find a list here. they seem to be working ok in 2.0

Another option is to use something like RSSCalendar.com which will let you publish a calendar created on that site as an RSS feed. Easy cut and paste to your sidebar.

I’m using it and am happy with the solution.

It should be noted that not all the calendar plugins listed on that page are actually working in 2.0. So far, of the true “future events” calendars I’ve tried, only two are compatible without modification: Calendar 2.0, and Events.

I have not checked the countdown, Persian or timeline style calendars. “Events” has a countdown option, but it’s mainly a text list of future events with lots of nice trimmings. Calendar 2.0 actually looks like a calendar on your page, and displays the event information only when you mouse-over a date. The VGL calendar website was not available, so not sure about that one.

Someone else suggested PHPCalendar can be called into WP, but I have not found the download link. I assume it’s the one on CodeGrrl, but I can’t find a list of plugins to download. Anyone point me in the right direction? I’d like to check it out.

    HTH 🙂
