How can i display just the last 3 games that have passed? i know that you have published option and also date but not for quantity, like display the last 3 published games, is there a way to do this? what i did was put relevant date and 14 days before, but this doesn’t ensures me that it will always display the last 3.

Hi @dombed ,

How do you try to display the last 3 games? If you are using a widget then there is an option to limit the showing events (https://snag.gy/nV5DBN.jpg)

As an example, the following will show the latest 3 results:

[event_list id=”1474″ title=”LATEST 3 RESULTS” status=”publish” number=”3″ orderby=”date” order=”DESC” show_all_events_link=”0″]

Output is here at the top: https://www.hornchurchfc.com/work-in-progress-2/

Just replace the id value (1474) with the id of your calendar.

@theangryduck thanks for the code! but now i get this weird display i want it to display as the one in the top that says dernier resultats

@dombed use the shortcode that you were using previous and just add the number="3" to it.

Hi @dombed,

So, you just want to print the results as a block as opposed to a list. In the code sent above, just replace event_list with event_blocks.

The top one uses:
[event_list id=”1474″ title=”LATEST 3 RESULTS” status=”publish” number=”3″ orderby=”date” order=”DESC” show_all_events_link=”0″]

The bottom one uses:
[event_blocks id=”1474″ title=”LATEST 3 RESULTS” status=”publish” number=”3″ orderby=”date” order=”DESC” show_all_events_link=”0″]

@theangryduck wow thanks a lot for the help! i realized that it wasent working because the ” i had to changed them to ” and now it works! thank you so much really appreciate your help!
