Calendar archive as like newspaper site

Hi there,
I want to show my blog’s archives using my homepage template and most importantly using a calendar widget. When I click any previous date on calendar, it will show me all posts as like my homepage.
My another need is to change my blog’s system date according to the calendar’s selected date. I mean which date I click on the calendar, the site’s date will be the that date and only posts of that day will be displayed on the site.
I used “calendar archive” plugin, but it just show post’s of the specific day through a list. When I click any category it shows all of the posts of that category. Each time I want to show the posts of only that specific day of any category.
N.B. I’m using forester theme and modified some features.
Can anyone help me out please?
