Support » Plugin: Polylang » Calendar and integrations language

  • Hi!

I am working on a multilingual website, and have some little issues that I am trying to solve with:
    – Calendar language.
    – Stripe integration placeholders language.

Those 2 things are always shown in Spanish, in the appointment plugin used (Amelia) in all the 3 languages of the site, even when the default language of the site and on Polylang is set as German. We would prefer that at least they were shown always in German, if it weren’t possible to be shown on the corresponding language.

    The site uses:
    Theme: Divi
    Plugins

    • Polylang
    • Amelia
    • Autoptimize
    • BST DSGVO Cookie
    • Theme and plugin translation for Polylang (TTfP)
    • UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
    • Wordfence Security
    • Yoast SEO
    • WP Crontrol
    • WP-Optimize – Clean, Compress, Cache

    All is up to date.

Here the thread I already opened for the plugin:
    https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/ticket/2479932/

They say must be a problem from the plugin.

Any idea of what could be the problem? As I said, at least we would prefer that those strings appear always in German, if it were not possible to show them translated to the right language.

    Thanks,

    Taisa – Raquel

  • @taisa1984 What you want is to get translated output from the plugin. This is different. Polylang just provide the possibility to handle and translate content.
The output from a plugin is managed by the plugin an its provided language files (keyword: i18n).
So, maybe something is wrong with your configuration or the plugin can not provide the feature you need (see answer #3 in your shared ticket URL).

Yes, but this output as they said should be in the default language from the site (German) and it isn’t. Something is interfering and making it appear in spanish (other of the site languages, but not the default). And I am trying to guess why is this.

The plugin has all the language files for the languages we are using (DE, ES and PL). But they say the calendar is vcalendar.

The answer 3 from the ticket is not related, that is another feature request for some emails the plugin sends.

What I want is to have those strings translated, or at least, that they are in German.
