Ok so i am having a Problem with the Credit Card field on Caldera Forms. When i fill out the CC field and hit send to submit the form, the credit card field comes in looking like this (xxxxxxxxxxxx1234). I need to see the full CC number when i receive the form so i can charge the card. It also does it with the CVC number. Is there a way to get it to where it is not secured? Does anyone know how to get around this and solve my Problem?

    Thank you, Tyler

    Tyler –

This is how it is supposed to work. Storing credit card numbers in the WordPress database is incredibly insecure and is a violation of terms of service for all credit card processors.

    Take care,

I guess I am missing something?

We take Credit Cards online via our Order form.
When The customer adds the CC# to the form how do we see the CC# at our Office to charge their card?

    Thanks for your time.

What you’re attempting to do is a very bad idea. If you were to make this work, and someone hacks your website and gains access to those credit card numbers, the fraudulent charges that result are likely to become your liability.

You could make what you’re trying to do work. I would strongly recommend you consult with your credit card processing company and business insurance company first.

I strongly recommend that you use a company like Stripe to securely process credit cards online. We have an add-on for Caldera Forms that makes this veryeasy. https://calderaforms.com/downloads/caldera-forms-stripe-add-on/

I hop you will choose to use one of our credit card processing add-ons. If you use someone else’s, fine. But please don’t do what you’re trying to do.
