 * Calculation fields have an option to define the thousands separator. However,
   an option to define the decimals separator is not available. In Europe, it is
   common to show a money value as:
 * 1.234,56
 * This seems not possible with caldera forms. The decimal separator is always a
   period. With thousands separator set to period as well, amounts are displayed
   as
 * 1.234.56
 * Which is truly unusual! Why not add an option allowing to define the decimal
   point or comma?

 * Hi hanshdre,
 * Thanks for using Caldera Forms. Good point – we’ve stuck with American convention,
   but that’s not how the whole world does decimal notation. Being accessible on
   a global level is important to us, so I’ve created an enhancement issue in our
   GitHub: [https://github.com/CalderaWP/Caldera-Forms/issues/910](https://github.com/CalderaWP/Caldera-Forms/issues/910)
 * If you would like, you can leave a comment on that issue with additional information
   about how this enhancement could be most useful to you.
 * Thanks again for using Caldera Forms. Please note that if you ever need any help
   with Caldera Forms, we don’t generally offer support through this forum. Instead,
   open a support ticket at [https://CalderaWP.com/support](https://CalderaWP.com/support)
   or if you find a bug, please open an issue at [https://github.com/CalderaWP/Caldera-Forms/issues](https://github.com/CalderaWP/Caldera-Forms/issues).
   Thanks!

 * Hello and good morning,
 * Thanks for adding the feature to specify thousands and decimal separators.
    With
   the new feature it is now possible to correctly display the amount in the calculated
   field on the form.
 * HOWEVER:
    There is still an issue which I believe could be easily corrected.
 * In the email responder, the calculation field is still using a period as decimal
   seperator, regardless of the configured one. So in the email responder, as well
   as in the database, an amount will still look like : 10.000.00 (ten-thousand
   and zero cents which should be 10.000,00 if decimal seperator is set to a comma.(
   Usual in Europe).
 * I’m hoping that you can take this hint in a furure release of the Caldera forms!
 * Kind Regards,
    Hans Albers

 * I am conducting tests using Caldera forms in order to determine it’s viability
   with our company’s needs. I have 2 simple questions.
    1. Our initial interest
   in Caldera Forms is in using it to create various scientific and engineering
   calculators for our subscribers. In my testing I am not using a submit button.
   Will the form still store information in the database? My concern is needlessly
   exponentially filling our database with needless information. 2. I have developed
   an initial calculator form computing resistance values from resistor color codes.
   The problem I have encountered is that the decimal separator is not working.
   I have it set to a comma but instead of displaying 1 million as 1,000,000 the
   form displays 1000000. This is an issue for us. Am I doing something wrong?
