# Calculation – Datedif

 * Hello,
 * I recently found that TablePress can do calculations. However, I can’t seem to
   get it to calculate the difference between a date and today’s date showing the
   result in Years, Months and Days.
 * I tried this simple formula just to get the Years:
 * =datedif(B5,today(),”Y”)
 * I get this error message: !ERROR! B5 does not contain a number or expression
 * B5 is just a date. 1/1/1980.
 * Thanks for any help!

 * Unfortunately, I’ll have to disappoint you here. Such date calculations are indeed
   not possible. TablePress is only capable of calculating basic math functions
