# Caching the thumbnail?

 * Will any future version incorporate some sort of thumbnail caching? The i.ytimg.
   com server is sometimes excruciatingly slow, often being the slowest loading 
   part of the website and rarely even timing out. It would be better if the thumbnail
   could be cached locally somehow.

   be available. If you’re into coding, you could develop it yourself hooking into
   wp youtube lyte’s “lyte_match_thumburl”-filter?
