I have installed WordPress Simple Payapl Shopping Cart alongside NextGen Gallery and everything seems to be working well. The only problem is that when I move between pages, the shopping cart doesn’t always update properly – it is surely a caching issue since the second I hit “update page” within wordpress everything is fine.

I have disabled my wordpress caching plugin and modified the .htaccess file in order to tell the site – don’t cache; however, I still run into the issue.

Does anyone have any idea how this can be solved. I’m not sure at which stage this caching is occuring.
    Thanks

Really strange – I updated WP Super Cache, checked all the buttons it recommended, and now things appear to be working.

Do you have any idea why the shopping cart contents would be erratic when changing pages (with caching off), but working when I upgrade and activate WP Super Cache?

I am happy that it seems to be working, but totally perplexed.

I am happy to see that you have fixed your issue. If you are going to use a cache plugin, you must make sure you don’t cache pages with the shopping cart added.

You can read more about WP Super Cache here. This method or similar will apply to all cache plugins.
    Regards
