# Caching Problem

 * I previously described a problem that I had [in another post](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/tablepress-nextgen-weird-table-behaviour/).
 * I had created a table using TablePress, containing thumbnail previews for NextGen
   galleries in columns 1 & 2 of the first two rows. The thumbnails of column 2 
   got shifted to column 1, and those that were meant to be displayed in column 
   1 disappeared completely. I resolved this by adding another column in front of
   the other two, and setting its width to 0.
 * The changes appeared immediately in Firefox, but Chrome still displayed the old
   version of the table. This morning, the page was suddenly working in Chrome, 
   which seemed to point towards a caching issue.
 * I just updated the page, and re-added the table (basically, I had created a test
   area at the bootom of the page, and I deleted the old table at the top, while
   moving the correct table in its place). Suddenly, neither Firefox nor Chrome 
   are displaying the correct (updated) table!
 * After installing Cache Killer for Chrome, and disabling caching in Firefox, the
   problem still persisted, so I assumed it must have something to do with server-
   sided caching. I installed the W3 Total Cache plugin, but the button for clearing
   the cache was greyed out. After I uninstalled it, and I installed WP Super Cache
   instead, it displayed zero cached pages.
 * What is going on here? I am hoping that both browsers will display the page correctly
   at some point, but even if they do, I can hardly wait half a day each time I 
   make a change, before I can actually see the changes!
