Support » Plugin: WP Super Cache » Cached pages don't have scripts in wp_footer

  • Using WPSC 1.3.2 in WordPress 3.6, on a Thematic child theme.

Strangely, whenever a cached page is served, the area where all the footer javascripts should be – the output of wp_footer() – is completely empty.

The scripts show up when a user hits an uncached page. But when the user goes back to that page (and gets the cached version), that area just above the closing body tag is empty.

  • Update: after testing with different themes, this is obviously linked to some (mis)configuration of the custom theme I have to deal with.

With a plain vanilla version of TwentyThirteen or Thematic, everything works fine.
