On my web site http://www.stories4u.com,I go into dashboard. My “editing changes” only hold until I log out. On return to my web page (without logging in),the changes have not happened.
On my dashboard page I have the following warning:

Warning! WP Super Cache caching broken! The script advanced-cache.php could not load wp-cache-phase1.php.

Please edit /home/rossi/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php and make sure the path to /home/rossi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php is correct.

Where do I correct this and is this the problem?
I have tried going onto “home” and clicking on “Inspect element” but I cannot see any of the data from the above warning notice.

Can you delete the plugin and reinstall it from a fresh download?

    Note: Backup your site first.

Have gone into plug ins and studied!!!
Backed up all my web page.
Then decided to un-install WP Super cache.
It showed programmes that would be effected.

    Went ahead and got rid.
Web site still up and all editing facilities are now working as before.

Thanks for all help and emails on this rather nervy (for me) situation.
    Thanks again,
    Rossi
