    You’ve gone to lengths in order to properly cache remote calls, which is great, but the way you’re storing the cache is redundant and slow. I recommend caching to WordPress transient which would store the serialized data in the database rather than a file.

    Your widget on my server takes up to 5 seconds to output the instagram feed.
