[Resolved] Cache time?

  • Hi Tim,

I’ve been using your plugin for a client and once he complained that the tweets weren’t updating fast enough. I’ve looked through the code a bit but I can’t work out if you are using a caching system and if so, whether its possible to change the time and make it update a bit faster?

It could have just been a slow twitter connection but I thought I’d double check.

    Cheers,

    Patrick

    The cache time is hard-coded.

I should add a filter or a config for this so you can alter it, but the thing is I’ve set it to its most sensible shortest value anyway. If the plugin makes further more calls to the API then it will run into the new, stricter rate limits.

I’ll close this post once I’ve added a filter, so you can see for yourself.

    latest_tweets_cache_seconds filter added to 1.0.8

currently not the stable release, but will be shortly.
