Hello! I really like your plugin. But from the side of seo optimization, is it not dangerous when the YouTube code is replaced?

    Another question please.

When I do not enable caching locally, the pictures are stored on the ytimg.com website. What is this site, is it reliable?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    hey Illya;
    1. LYTE automatically adds microdata with video information to the HTML, which makes the videos more easily discoverable then normal YouTube embeds (which are iframes)
    2. ytimg.com is youtube’s domain, used for image delivery.

    hope this clarifies,
    frank

Thank you! If I may, I would also like to ask. Why in some articles the video is still displayed without plugin processing? The site has a plugin W3 Total cache, I reset the cache

    For example:
    javdele.com/facebook-effekt-dlya-biznesa-i-samopiara-zapis-vebinara/
    javdele.com/video-uroki-po-yuzabiliti-auditu-sajta/

could be because they were added with a pagebuilder? try adding as LYTE widget or with a LYTE shortcode instead maybe?

    (@marketertricks)

I am not using any pagebuilder plugin or WordPress block editor…

hmm, I see a linebreak that splits the <iframe code over 2 lines, maybe that’s the problem?

Oddly enough, in the WordPress editor it was like this:

    i.imgur.com/tD4OPLt.jpg

I re-added new code from youtube, and now the plugin works i.imgur.com/7BnPYS4.png .

I don’t understand the reason. It would be great if the plugin works automatically in all articles

looks like a valid embed, weird LYTE didn’t pick it up, no idea why to be honest :-/

Looks like I found a reason why the plugin doesn’t work for all videos. Here is a test article wstyle2.tk/ispolzovanie-mobilnogo-interneta-v-2020 , in first video code without the https: // part, the plugin does not work in this case, in the second video in the video code there is https: //, the plugin works correctly.

Could you please make these edits to the plugin?

yeah, I’ll look into that! 🙂

OK, think this is fixed in the Github version, can you download https://github.com/futtta/wp-youtube-lyte/archive/main.zip and install that instead of the current version of LYTE to test?

    Thread Starter Illya Protasov

    (@marketertricks)

I checked it on a test site – it works! wstyle2.tk/ispolzovanie-mobilnogo-interneta-v-2020

    You are a Wizard!

Now I need to wait for a update notification to appear on the main website in the management console?

    Plugin Author Optimizing Matters

    (@optimizingmatters)

great, thanks for confirming. this will indeed be in the next update, but don’t have an eta on that yet so if you want this on the live site you should either use the github version there as well OR make the small change from https://github.com/futtta/wp-youtube-lyte/commit/1f511b5fb38a23aa3ec32a32bbbe4455719badd7 manually?

    Thread Starter Illya Protasov

    (@marketertricks)

Replaced the red line with the green one taken from the GitHub. Now all videos on the site are processed by your plugin!

Thank you! But we will wait for the update)

I also wanted to ask you, I saw in the plugin description that there may be a conflict with the All in One SEO Pack (from FAQ Problem with All In One Seo Pack ), I use that plugin. But the micro-markup was not using in your plugin, not in the All in One SEO Pack plugin. I did not understand how to find out if there is a conflict

    Plugin Author Optimizing Matters

    (@optimizingmatters)

the conflict mentioned does not apply here, but I indeed do not see the LYTE microdata Illya. is the “add microdata”-option on?
