Support » Plugin: Autoptimize » cache size is always zero, why?

I have used Autooptimize for a long time. In the past, when I would hover the cursor over the Autooptimize button on the top menu bar, it would display a positive number for the cache size and number of files. Then after I manually cleared the cache, the numbers would drop to zero. But in the last few weeks, it always says the cache size is zero and there are zero files. So now I wonder two things: does Autooptimize now automatically clear the cache, or is the plugin broken?

Well, there is no automatic cache cleaning in AO, so that’s not it Dave. If you can share your URL I can check if it works or if something is broken.

Well, based on the HTML source AO is probably not working (or not active), except if you only have “optimize CSS” on with “inline all CSS” ticked?

The plugin is active, and “inline all css” is not checked. The plugin was working before, and I have not changed any settings since then. Maybe a plugin conflict? I can try disabling them unless you have another suggestion.

    Update-
Apparently a plugin I recently installed (Sirv) is not compatible. I disabled it and AO is working now. The cache size is no longer zero.

no, that would indeed be the way to go.
