    Hi Autoptimize Team,

    I am using your plugin for 2 sites, very nice and good jobs… However I realise the cache size is going to increase for every page visit by visitor, by right which I don’t mind because I am using unlimited storage hosting, but I saw there’s a cap/limit being showed that I am using 10% cache now = 49MB… Ummmm, one of my site is using for the property marketplace and still under develop, seek for your advise how can I enhance the setting to increase the cache size or there’s a limit to handle for the free version? 🙂

    Morning Adam;
    AO creates a new file when new JS (or CSS) is found, which in your case indeed may be on every page.

    Typically this needs to be done to get cache size under control;
    1. make sure “also aggregate inline JS” is not ticked
    2. if this is already the case or if this does not fix the issue, make sure “also aggregate inline CSS” is not ticked
    3. if this is already the case or if this does not fix the issue, exclude wp-content/cache and/ or wp-content/uploads from CSS optimization (some themes/ pagebuilder store non-static CSS there).

    The FAQ has (a lot) more info on cache size and implications.

    hope this helps,

    Hi Frank,

    Currently I did not tick the “also aggregate inline JS” except for the CSS which I have ticked. I am fine with the caching size increase because no limitation for my storage, however what I am trying to mean is, the AO itself seen like maximum cache around 500+MB right?

    the 500MB is a random-ish number, but having a large cache size is an indication of other issues, so you might want to look into the reasons for that after all?

    Currently I am using w3tc together with 128mb memcached combo with AO, once the website fully build will hook to the cdn too, anyway I am happy to use AO. 🙂
