• I’m using the lastest version of WooCommerce 2.6.14 and am looking to speed up the page load times for my site with a cache plugin.

I’m just wondering if there are any recommendations as to which of the many plugins out there might be best suited for a WooCommerce site?

I have three cache plugins on my list of possibles so far – W3 Total Cache, Comet Cache and WP Fastest Cache. W3 Total Cache seems to be the most popular in terms of downloads, but I’ve noticed a few people are currently reporting that its broken with WordPress 4.7.2.

It would be good to hear what is working well for other people and if there are any in particular that work well with WooCommerce? Any advice is appreciated. 🙂

    Myles

  • As a free solution, we recommend Comet Cache to our clients. It’s the most flexible so far. It also supports dynamic caching, which is a must for us, whereas W3TC and Fastest Cache do not.
As a paid option, WP Rocket is one of the best available, if not the best.

Thanks for your feedback and suggestion.

I’ve reduced my shortlist to Comet Cache and Fastest Cache, so will probably test both and see how they behave for me.

I’m not fully sure what dynamic caching is or if it would be of benefit to me. I’ve googled the term, but still a bit fuzzy how it works.
