PMP is preventing some of pages from caching correctly on on my DIVI WordPress site. It is quite subtle in that it removes borders and enlarges images to full size. It is quite random and only affects my most recent blog pages (since Oct) and all my Membership pages but only a couple of pages at a time. I’ve disabled all plugins and enabled them one by one to identify the issue is PMP. I’ve tried everything – used a variety of different cache plugins, worked with DIVI support and developers but everything fails. You can make a change on the page or backend and it fixes it for a couple of hours but then it goes back to the issue. Does any one have any ideas? Thanks

    Hi @creationmc

I’m sorry to hear you are facing issues.

Here is our recommended guide regarding to caching and dynamic/membership content – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/advanced/caching/

Paid Memberships Pro does use COOKIES to track visits, if this is not crucial and you are tracking your own reporting for pages and content you may disable this by using this code snippet – https://gist.github.com/ideadude/27912cd472e1216ba73420386ddae2ce

Please let me know if this helps.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me – much appreciated! I’ve read & tried your caching document before but it didn’t work. I’ll try the code snippet & get back to you in couple of days of testing it.

Hi, sadly the code snippet hasn’t worked either. I’ve used PMP for 3 years without any issues but since an update in Sept / Oct 2021 it has been creating cache issues. FYI. with no other plugins enabled and only the PMP plugin and the DIVI theme it creates the issue. Remove your plugin – everything is fine. I wonder if it is conflicting with the DIVI theme?

It’s a possible conflict, I will try test this further with DIVI and their theme caching settings.

I recommend reaching out to their support to see if they have any patches around this as the issue could be theme related.

Hi, just thought I’d update the situation. After a considerable amount of communication with Elegant Themes (DIVI) it has been acknowledged that there is a conflict with Membership plug-ins. I uploaded Memberpress and had the same issue as PMP. The workaround at the moment is turn off all CSS settings (static, dynamic & critical) in DIVI theme options. Thank you PMP for all your help and advice. Love the PMP plug-in.
