Hi, I have an RSS aggregator plugin running on my website which displays its output onto a single page. As the feed refreshes it is not being picked up by the cache. Is there a way that this can be changed so that updates are shown as and when they arrive or do I have to switch off caching for this to happen?? Thanks for any help.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Please can you ask the author of that plugin what action it calls when it refreshes? Then we can hook that action, and clear the cache when it does so.

Hi David, Thanks for your reply. I have asked RSS Feed Retriever author Travis (@tjtaylor) your question. His reply is ‘ We use a filter built-in to WordPress core named wp_feed_cache_transient_lifetime ‘. Does this help you? Cheers, Doug

    Hi,

I think he misunderstood the question; that’s a *filter* for changing a value, rather than an *action* for indicating that something happened. Does his plugin call any particular action at the point of refreshing its feed?
