Cache not deletable when config file is not editable

    Using WP 4.9.8 and Super Cache 1.6.4.

    The cache is not deletable when the config file is not writeable. Why is this?

    Because on my test/production environment i don’t want the config file to be writeable on the server.

    It’s because all buttons (WP Super Cache page – admin dashboard) have ‘disabled’ class (if config file is RO) but I think that button on admin bar (admin dashboard not fronted) should purge entire cache regardless filemode of config file. Did you try this button?
