# Cache Not Activated

 * Thank you guys for this plugin, it is fantastically put together. I am having
   problems with the caching at the moment though.
 * I have confirmed that deflate is enabled. I have apache 2.4
 *     ```
       apache2ctl -t -D DUMP_MODULES
       Loaded Modules:
        deflate_module (shared)
       ```
   
 * I first added the rules automatically to my .htaccess file, and then manually
   added to my vhost.conf. I then reset apache but this did not change the outcome.
 * I have of course hit refresh status many times and it has not come back as working.
 * Any help would be gratefully received.

 * It seems that browser caching is enabled properly, but Hummingbird is unable 
   to verify the proper status of browser caching because of issues with SSL on 
   your site. This prevents our API from reaching your domain. I am also not able
   to run a test via Gtmetrix because of the same issue. You can test your domain
   on [https://www.ssllabs.com/](https://www.ssllabs.com/) to get the SSL errors
   that need to be fixed.
