# cache issues

 * Hi,
    I need to reopen [this issue](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/meta-values-not-showing-without-hard-refresh/).
   It was fixed but now the meta values are being cached again.
 * I had previously excluded this route from the caching mechanism `'#^/wp-json/
   post-meta-controls/v1/?#'`. Did this route change? That might explain why it’s
   being cached again. Here is [a recent video showing the issue](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nUed_txa6Fd1KqftlKFiVkIUwtGOS1ks/view?usp=sharing).
   Any thoughts?
