    Hiya
First of all, thanks for the plugin!

It does exactly what we needed, but there is an issue: I changed the related posts on an entry, but they don’t seem to change anymore. It is like once they were selected, you will never be able to change them.

Is there a known issue with the cache? I am not using any plugin for it, and Im on WP 3.5

    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks

  • I have a similar issue, it seems. Everything works fine and looks great. Except that the related posts I chose manually only show up when I chose not to have any posts chosen automatically when I didn’t chose any manually (first box). Ohterwise it just shows some standard four most recent articles under must posts. I have more than a thousand articles and can’t change them all now :(…

I use WP-cache but it is switched off.

It helped to set the cache of the Manual Related Posts Plugin to 0 to actually show the related posts I manually picked. Still the automated selection doesn’t show releated posts, but the most recent posts under most articles though there are over a thousand posts to chose from and more than a dozend categories.

After a week of working with it I must say I’m even happier with the plugin as all the problems I had were resolved by setting the cache to 0 – it apparently took a while to find the articles and I related several manually – now it even automatically suggests good related articles. Thanks again to the developer – very well done!

    Hi there,

We are experiencing cache issues as well. Unfortunately setting the cache to 0 doesn’t solve the problem here. I am not using any other caching method (yet) because we are still developing.

Any thoughts, can we completely shut down the cache in any way?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

We are still facing this issue. It doesn’t refresh the related posts we changed a week ago. First time time connection works like a charm but when we change the related posts the front-end doesn’t update.

    Any idea?

    Thanks.
