Cache issue – but only on mobiles! | WordPress.org

Hi,

`I’ve got a WordPress page that works fine on desktops and mobiles but when I turn on cacheing, using SG Optimizer, all the links – to video & .pdh popups – stop working – but only on mobile devices – desktop browsers still work fine.
The page is https://smarterbusinessprocesses.com/smartercontrols4smartsheet/ I’ve added this page to the ‘Exclude URLs from Caching’ list on the live site – so it now works as expected So I’ve made a copy of this page:

…/smartercontrols4smartsheet2/ which IS cached in SG Optimizer and therefore demonstrates the problem:

https://smarterbusinessprocesses.com/smartercontrols4smartsheet2/ (Caching enabled) consistently fails on mobiles – but works desktops !
https://smarterbusinessprocesses.com/smartercontrols4smartsheet/ (Caching disabled) works on all mobiles and desktops….

I’d like to be able to Cache the ‘live’ page – so and advice you can give about solving this problem will be much appreciated

I’ve just checked the page you have created for us and I don’t see any issues on mobile and desktop.

Would it be possible to provide more details?

thanks for checking this out – your contribution is much appreciated.

6 different people have now checked this out and – though each of these gets consistent results themselves – all combinations Success/Success, Fail/Fail, Success/Fail & Fail/Success have been reported – so it currently looks like Cacheing isn’t a consistent/driving factor here.

More likely – gut feel – suggests ‘undefined variable’ type scenario in some bit of code.

There is no different cache for Mobile or Desktop unless specified so. If the page has been accessed before it will be in the cache, unless excluded of course.
