# Cache Files Not Automatically Removed

 * I recently found 370,000 cache files stored in my `/wp-content/uploads/ip2location/
   caches` directory. 
   It used up my hosting plan **inode allocation** of 400,000,
   causing storage **quota **exceeded errors. I was able to manually delete the 
   files by clicking on **Clear Cache** in the plugin settings. This fixed my storage
   quota problem. Should these cache files be periodically removed by the plugin
   to stop the cache from unlimited growth?Using version 2.45.0.
