 * I’m using WPSC to set s_maxage, and the Cloudflare page rule has no EdgeCacheTTL
   setting. All looks good in the header. When I set this to 120 in WPSC, the cache
   expires in 120s.
 * When I set s_maxage in WPSC to one year (or month, or week), half of my Cloudflare
   page caches expires overnight. I believe I checked the WPSC log about this time,
   but didn’t see any activity.
 * Repeating this with the WPSC preloader turned off, nothing changed.
 * I then deactivated WPSC, set s_maxage directly to one week, confirmed the response
   headers were correct, and tried it overnight.
 * It worked fine.
 * While the WPSC page cache may help in reloading the Cloudflare cache, it’s still
   much slower than having that cache stay valid. Most options are set to the default,
   and this is just a very simple new blog. It currently has very little traffic.
 * I just started WPSC again, leaving everything in defaults. Except for increasing
   the max log file size to 20MB.
 * I like everything else about WPSC, but I’m out of ideas on fixing this.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fcache-expiring-overnight%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Update 2/11/21
    For the past several weeks, every morning after WPSC has been
   running I found half the Cloudflare cache expired. This morning, my Cloudflare
   cache was intact.
 * Other than deactivate/activate on WPSC, the only change I can see was my turning
   on the Cloudflare WP plugin, as that appeared to be needed for the fallback cache
   to work, I’ll assume for now it’s lack also caused this issue. I guess I’ll have
   to wait a few days to find that out for sure, before marking this item.

 * The 2nd day working confirms it. WPSC requires the WP Cloudflare plugin to work
   properly.

 * That makes sense if you’re using Cloudflare. Things get very complicated with
   more than one method of page caching.
