    Hi,

I have a twitter feed plugin on my website and noticed it hadn’t updated in 3 months.. I have W3 Cache installed on my site, I cleared it’s cache and it updated the feed. I just wondered what I need to update in the W3 cache settings to stop it affecting this plugin?

    Thanks, hope you can help

  • Hi @macpheek,

Some plugins have their own setting that informs caching plugins to keep their information separate from the cache files, and it is possible the one you are using for your Twitter feed has this option.

To prevent your Twitter feed from being stale for 3 months you can also try the ‘Automatically prime the page cache’ option located under Cache Preload in the Page Cache settings. This tells your website to start rebuilding a selection of pages in the cache after a specified time interval and could help make sure a fresh version is always served to your user.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help!
