• Hi,

I am running 1.5.5. Yesterday I noticed, that my blog did not update the static homepage (with latest posts) and all other post-archives since a whole week, although every day a new post was published automatically by schedule. The posts itself were published and could be opened with direct links.

I set the “Expiry-Time & Garbage-Collection” to one week, but I also activated “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.” So what’s wrong? Is it a settings issue or a bug?

Before last week I did not really notice this issue, but I am not sure it did come with update 1.5.5 or if it was there the whole time since I installed the plugin some weeks ago.

    Any idea?

    Thanks.

    PS:
    My requirements are:

    • Only update the homepage and archives once a day, after a new post is (automatically) published.
    • Update cached single posts only when a comment is published.
    • Do not clear the cache of all other cached pages, especially older posts and static pages.
    • clear the whole cache only about once a week.

Is this generally possible to achieve with the right settings?

  • I’m having the same problem, scheduled posts do not clear cache.
Have version 1.5.5. Experienced this in older versions also (think I’ve updated at least twice since the problem was noticed).

I’ve tried disabling all other plugins but nothing seemed to do the trick.
