Cache does not clean when scheduled posts are automatically published
-
Hi,
I am running 1.5.5. Yesterday I noticed, that my blog did not update the static homepage (with latest posts) and all other post-archives since a whole week, although every day a new post was published automatically by schedule. The posts itself were published and could be opened with direct links.
I set the “Expiry-Time & Garbage-Collection” to one week, but I also activated “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.” So what’s wrong? Is it a settings issue or a bug?
Before last week I did not really notice this issue, but I am not sure it did come with update 1.5.5 or if it was there the whole time since I installed the plugin some weeks ago.
Any idea?
Thanks.
PS:
My requirements are:- Only update the homepage and archives once a day, after a new post is (automatically) published.
- Update cached single posts only when a comment is published.
- Do not clear the cache of all other cached pages, especially older posts and static pages.
- clear the whole cache only about once a week.
Is this generally possible to achieve with the right settings?
