[Resolved] Cache directory

  • Hi all

I am running PLEX and MySQL. everything fine with the installation BUT every now and then, depending on the traffic, I keep getting the “database error connection” and the whole blog goes down.

I ve been looking into it for AGES now and no solution for this. I think it is probably the permissions for the cache but I am not sure how to deal with this. COULD YOU PLEASE help me with that?

I CHANGED the permissions in the wp-content/cache folder but when I ran the advanced-cache.php page I receive the following:

Your cache directory ABSPATHwp-content/cache) needs to be writable for this plugin to work.

    1) Any suggestions how to deal with this?
    2) Do you know if this is the reason why the database is going down every now and then?

I dont have a clue of what else it could be, since no other problems occurred during instalation!

    Appreciate it!
