# Cache Directory Error

 * Hi,
 * Out of nowhere.. i suddenly get this Error:
 * **Your cache directory () did not exist and couldn’t be created by the web server.
   Check permissions. Cannot continue… fix previous problems and retry.**
 * i also noticed that for some reason “wp-cache-config.php” is empty.
    So i overwrote
   it with a backup file ..and it’s still not working.
 * i also set /wp-content/cache to 777
 * please advice.. **time sensitive**. thanks!
