Hey @bakimeral,
If the cache directory cannot be created in wp-content, it will be created in your system temporary folder (/tmp). In any case, it looks like PhastPress is working well on your site, so there’s nothing to worry about. 🙂

thanks for your answer
I need to put it in the cache partition
I get better results when I try it on my other site
if possible can you set it to run in the cache partition
Hi @bakimeral,
Where the cache is stored probably won’t make any difference for PhastPress’ functionality.
But the cache will be recreated in wp-content automatically if the cache directory in /tmp is deleted.
- Make sure the wp-content/cache directory exists.
- Make sure that it is writable for the web server (CHMOD 777).
- Remove the automatically created cache directory in /tmp. If you have SSH on your server, you can run this:
rm -rf /tmp/phast*

thanks for your answer
There is no cache directory in /tmp
The Phast. is nowhere to be found
Hi @bakimeral,
I am planning to add some functionality to PhastPress to make it possible to see where the cache directory is and to move it. I will let you know when this is done.
