WP Super Cache
Cache clearing with new posts regardless of setting (4 posts)

I have been seeing the cache clear whenever I update or publish a new post, regardless of whether or not I check the "Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated" box.

Has anyone else seen this behavior? If it is only me, can you point me in the direction to override the default settings in wp_cache so it defaults to not updating?

The particular post that has been added or modified should be (re-)cached automatically, regardless of settings. I haven't seen an automatic refresh of any other posts after adding or modifying one, though.

That's what I thought should be happening. I suspect I have a conflict with my "Frankenstein" theme or with a plugin. I see sporadic reporting of similar issues, but nothing that suggests a widespread problem. Might have to go through the plugin drill to see if I can identify which one is causing the issue.

I've done a lot of cleanup of old plugins and even uninstalled and re-installed Super Cache. Unfortunately, I still see this same issue. Anytime I change or add a post the entire cache clears. It does not matter how I set "Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated".
Has anyone IDed what causes this or how to fix it?
    Thanks,
    jeff
