Bypass Checkout default requiring shipping details

    I am using WP-eC for customers to purchase books (where tax and shipping need to be included) AND to register and pay for seminars (no tax or shipping).

    The new release requires that the fields of State and Country are enabled in the Default Checkout Forms for tax and shipping to be calculated. Before the upgrade, tax and shipping could be handled using “Add New Form Set” and specifying those field within the customized checkout form.

    The result is that Country and State are required fields at the checkout process for all purchases – including purchases that are not shipped (such as my seminars).

    Is there any way to clean up the checkout process for non-shipped items?

    The other snag is that customers receive this error message:

    “Please click the Calculate button to refresh your shipping quotes, as your shipping information has been modified.”

    But no Calculate button appears when on the the Product screen the box next to “Product will not be shipped to customer” is checked.

    Ideas?
