So, we just acquired a new client and we installed WordPress SEO by Yoast on his installation as a replacement for a number of other plugins including BWP Google XML Sitemaps.

After deactivating and deleting BWP Google XML Sitemaps, when we navigate to the WordPress SEO by Yoast sitemap, we receive the following error:

BWP Google XML Sitemaps Error: Requested module (sitemap_index) not found or not allowed.

Has anyone experienced this behavior? We have tried everything, including reinstalling BWP Google XML Sitemaps…

    Thanks,
    Evaero

You might want to check your .htaccess file and see if there’s anything related to BWP there and make sure to clean all your WordPress caches…

I did not see any references to BWP in there. However, i replaced the text with a original WP version and it seemed to fix the issue.

    Thanks for the tip!
