# buying theme, will the plugins work?

 * Hello,
    I am a beginner to wordpress. I saw some cool looking templates on the
   internet, and will purchase a few of those themes for my websites. My question
   is, when I do that, will all those plugins that I see on the wordpress.org site
   all the time, will they work on the themes I purchase?
 * I mean, a theme for free will not be different than a theme that you purchase,
   in terms of making plugins work correct? Is there any disadvantage of buying 
   a theme vs using free ones?

 * Yes, free themes save you money.
 * Majority of themes are coded correctly and therefore plugins generally work with
   them. But there can never be a 100% guarantee. Check that the plugin works with
   the latest version of WordPress. I’d also suggest you test with free themes before
   you spend money on a theme.
