  • Resolved Bloke

I have a custom plugin (not publicly available) that loads jquery.min.js It causes another of my plug ins editor screen not to be able to use some of the functions. If I remove this line the plug in will work but the buttons on entry form appear in HTML view. I tried later version of the jquery.min.js loaded from googleapis and it still has a conflict. The buttons appear and they are long. Is there something I can check? Maybe a something that is loaded that should not be loaded?

  • They are called ‘quick tags’ in the HTML editor. The button are there and are the length of the window stacked on top of one another. The editor looks ok in other parts of WordPress just in this one plug in I am having this issue. So I think a CSS file is not getting referenced correctly. Not sure what to look for.

I noticed I was using the old the_editor() function and switched to wp_editor() but that didn’t solve the issue.

I found it was an issue with the CSS file being loaded for the plug in. I took each line out until the editor window looked correct.
