I have a very strange problem. The sharing buttons perfectly appear on the blog posts http://www.scritturaatuttotondo.it/news/ and on SOME static pages, but not all of them! (Of course I clicked “Show on bottom of pages”).
E.g. they appear here http://www.scritturaatuttotondo.it/contatti/
and on all the other static pages except for these 3:
I tried from different computers, different browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Safari) and even different Internet connections and the result is the same.
Apart from AddToAny and Akismet, I only have 4 others plugins installed and they are all updated. Even the theme is updated.
Could you please help?
Good initial troubleshooting. 🙂
Do you have a caching plugin installed or any sort of caching enabled for your site? If so, try purging your cache and/or temporarily disabling the cache.
If the issue persists, list your other installed plugins here.
Thanks for your reply!
Unfortunately the issue persists… I also tried to deactivate all the plugins and the result was always the same: in the 3 pages listed above, no sharing buttons. Here are the other installed plugins:
All in One Seo Pack http://semperfiwebdesign.com/
Codestyling Localization http://www.code-styling.de/english/development/wordpress-plugin-codestyling-localization-en
Download Manager http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/
PS Since the buttons show at the bottom of the homepage also, and I don’t want that (I just want them to appear at the bottom of ALL the internal static pages!) I decided to temporarily unclick the option “Show at the bottom of pages” – until the problem is solved.
FYI your site is not validating right now:
You should check whether the “Show sharing buttons” setting is checkmarked when you are editing a post or page. This setting is in the “AddToAny” box right below the main editor. AddToAny respects the standard “Show sharing buttons” setting if you ever toggled it in another plugin such as Jetpack.
