buttons in edit page not working

When I am editing a page most of the buttons such as Add Media, Publish/draft, Add to Slideshow are not working. It shows that I have clicked the button but no actions follows. I recently changed the theme so I’m it has to do with that. I tried deactivating all of my plugins and reactivating them. I called my web hosting to see if it had to do with them and they found nothing. I can still edit the content in the page and update it but I can not add media, slideshow or check my SEO page analysis at the bottom.
