  • Hi, Justina:

    When you added your phone number under the social media buttons, did you use CSS method or did you use the JQuery method from this thread?

    CSS method under the theme settings.

    And you want to replace all of the contact information that you entered from before (phone number, address, and e-mail address) with just the one image? Alter the CSS that you entered previously to look like this:

    #social_icons:after {
       content: url(http://www.thriveology123.com/images/my_image.jpg);
       white-space: pre;
       display: block;
       margin-left: 20px;

    The url value should point to the image that you uploaded. You can also adjust the margin-left value to move the image left or right.

    I want to replace the contact number with my jpeg number button and have the rest of the contact info below it. Would that look weird?

    It wouldn’t look weird, but it would be impossible to do with the CSS method, you’d have to switch over and use JQuery. Which isn’t very difficult, you just need to install a plugin and copy the JQuery code to it. Once that’s in place, not only can you add the image separately from the rest of the info, you can do things like turn the e-mail address into a link so that when users click on it, it opens up a blank e-mail message in their e-mail client for them to send to you.

    I’ll be leaving for home soon, so if I don’t respond right away, that’s why.

    This sounds great! I have to leave work but I’ll learn how to use JQuery after installing tomorrow. Thank you so much for ALL of this help!!
