    Salam,
    Respected Admin,
I am using free version of your plugin along with Astra free Theme and WCFM Manager plugin.
Your plugin is basically for, to gather jobs seekers and display them on a single page but I am in a search of, to have a plugin which posts the services by providers and needy ones can contact to providers to avail the services like mason, electrician and plumber for home etc.
I am trying to customize your free basic plugin to fulfil my requirements.
After clicking “To Apply for This Job” button, I want to display a mobile number of services provider instead of E-Mail Address. I modified the file wp-Job -Manager > includes > forms > class-wp-job-manager-forms-submit-job.php but when a service provider submit his form (Post a Job), upon submitting, got a message ” Please enter a valid application email address“. and the request of posting a service (job) not published.
    OR
simply you can say, I want to display a mobile number instead of a Email Address and WhatsApp instead of a website link on a single jobs page. Also want to hide video and twitter link.
    Best Wishes,
    Muhammad Sarwar

  • Hi @stakedeals

For this, you would need to change the Job Submission forms, this page has more details on how you can set that up:

    https://wpjobmanager.com/document/editing-job-submission-fields/

Basically, you’ll want to set the email field as optional, or remove it entirely, then add the phone number field. You may also need to edit the Job Listing templates so that it is showing the phone number as the Application method. This page has more details on overriding templates:

From the above link did not find any help.
I want to add the phone number at the “Application email/URL field”
Or add a phone field but make the “Application email/URL” field optional.
can you send me any snipt please?

Can you help me with this issue?

    Thanks

    Hi @stakedeals

Your best option for this would be to add a new field for the phone number as a text field, and then either edit the email field to make it optional, or remove it entirely using this snippet:

    https://wpjobmanager.com/customization-snippets/#removeField

I did some more checking and once you have the phone number field, you would actually need to override the template for either the email (job-application-email.php) or url (job-application-url.php) to show the new phone number field instead of the email or application link.
