Support » Plugin: Advanced Access Manager » Button “Restrict Menu” activated – but still visible for role

  • Resolved Anja Deubzer

there is another question from me.

We have updated both WPcore and the plugin AAM Pro.
But have found a inconsistency of AAM Restriction and the actual restricted pages when a user is logged in.

We just found out that one of our custom role in AAM does not hide the admin menu item which is selected to be restricted by the AAM’s “Restrict Menu” Button.

Lets say the Role is named “Magazine Editor”.
I set the Admin Menu Item “AAM” to “Restrict Menu” because I
do not want the role “Magazine Editor” to access that page.
But when I log-in as a “Magazine Editor” I can access it and even alter the rights.

Any idea? Other options (which where set in a older version)
like hiding subpages (Design > Menu options) work.

Looking forward to get some info/tipp what might be wrong.

    Thanks, Anja
